Do you know a military veteran who enjoys hunting and fishing? If so, you may want to learn more about a national nonprofit that arranges outdoor adventures with them in mind.
The Fallen Outdoors organizes hunting and fishing trips for veterans of every generation and all branches of the military. “We work with guide services, landowners and outfitters to provide outdoor-related events such as hunting and fishing trips at little to no cost to our current and former military members in our state,” says Jason Wryn, a U.S. Army veteran and an active member of the organization.
The Illinois chapter has connected with duck and goose hunting clubs, hosted hunts for waterfowl, turkey and whitetail deer, and set up fishing trips for various species including crappie and catfish.
