Illinois Farm Bureau (IFB) Partners, in its current form, has been with you and other members for more than a decade. I thought it long overdue to share and recognize some of the people who make this publication, the website, weekly podcast and our presence on social media happen on behalf of the Illinois farmers we serve.

Jeff Adkins and Nathan Lambrecht (unfortunately, not pictured above) have captured many of our amazing covers and photos. Catrina Rawson helps with photos too, along with Dawn Heggie, who juggles many of our photo needs. Michelle Pazar leads efforts to help cover costs with tasteful ads, and Sabrina Burkiewicz co-hosts our weekly podcasts.

Jeff Brown and Tammie Sloup scour, challenge and correct our copy. Nan Fannin works with county Farm Bureaus on their pages, member lists and mailing heroics. Carisa Ownby (not pictured) and Jessy Yancey have the heavy lifts of day-to-day management of the magazine, website and social media, with support from several graphic designers and website developers. Last, but certainly not least, Chris Magnuson, IFB’s executive director of operations, news and communications, had the vision 15 or so years ago to improve Partners, which resulted in what you see and read here today. After more than two decades with IFB, Chris retires at the end of May.

We hope that vision, to share outstanding examples of Illinois farm, family and food-related people, places and events, continues for many years to come.
