Mad Goat Coffee in Danville brews more than just cups of joe. This gathering place gives coffee lovers an opportunity to enjoy quality beans in an atmosphere of motivation.
As Vermilion County Farm Bureau member Sam George attempted to study at a local fast-food restaurant, he realized his town needed a better spot to do so in a relaxed environment. Luckily, George’s sister and brother-in-law previously owned a coffee shop in Bloomington and were willing to lend their knowledge to help his dream begin. After George and his wife, Rachel, remortgaged their home for the startup money, Mad Goat Coffee became a reality, offering lattes, chai, scones and a side of community.
Mad Goat continues to grow with a second location plus a separate coffee lab and roastery. It’s become a central hub in Danville and a supplier of tasty beans to customers across the country. To learn more, visit madgoatcoffee.com.
