Nestled in the rolling hills of northwest Illinois, the quaint town of Galena is home to Galena Canning Company. Chef Ivo Puidak, a classically trained chef from Chicago, founded the business more than 20 years ago, releasing his now-famous Hickory Apple Barbeque Sauce as the company’s first product. From there, the chef developed jams and preserves, salsas and dips, sauces, rubs and hot sauce, which became such a passion that he developed a store entirely dedicated to the fiery condiment. Located at 106 S. Main St., the spicy-focused store now features more than 100 hot sauces of varying degrees of heat.
Directly across the street at 107 S. Main St., the Galena Canning Company store sells Chef Ivo’s more sweet and savory culinary creations. Though Chef Ivo died in 2020, his legacy continues, as visitors can browse Galena Canning Company’s delicious offerings at both of its storefronts in downtown Galena or online at galenacanning.com.

The Select Rhubarb Raspberry Jam is what I would like to try due to my Mom used to make Strawberry Rhubarb Jelly and it was Delicious!!! Curious to see if this is just as Delicious!!! I would also like to try other items, First this Jam!!!
