Red Oak Nature Center, Aurora, Illinois

Uncover the secrets of Devil’s Cave at Red Oak Nature Center, a 40-acre natural paradise on the east bank of the Fox River near Aurora, Illinois. Devil’s Cave is one of the few caves in the Chicago area and is full of folklore.

While at Red Oak Nature Center, hike one of three scenic walking trails, enjoy panoramic views from the Interpretive Center’s observation deck, and watch for wildlife including bald eagles, red fox and deer. There are also designated picnic areas.

    my brother and I checked out the canoe race today down the Fox River June 3, 2012 afterwards we stopped at the Red Oak Observatory Deck and than took the short hike down to the Devil’s Cave it was cool It’s a must see
