Edgewood Orchards in Quincy welcomes visitors to enjoy a one-stop spot for fall flavor. From apples, cider and pies to pumpkins and gourds, the orchard offers all the fall favorites.

The Zellerman family started the orchard in 1930, and today, the third and fourth generations run the fruit farm. From sweet to tart, visitors can enjoy 13 varieties of apples: Zestar, Gala, Honeycrisp, Jonathan, Jonagold, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Fuji, Willow Twig, Pink Lady, Granny Smith, Braeburn and Blushing Golden.

They grow about 12,000 bushels of apples a year, producing about 1.1 million apples annually. And each year, they make approximately 10,000 gallons of cider with a combination of tart, sweet and neutral apples. On weekends throughout the season, they make their popular apple cider slushies.

The orchard opens in early September, and the season runs until around Thanksgiving. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays through Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. For seasonal updates and to learn more, visit edgewoodorchards.com.
