Here are some findings from the recently released Census of Agriculture that shed some light on the state of agriculture in Illinois.

1. Illinois holds the No. 1 spot as the nation’s top producer of soybeans, pumpkins and horseradish (and the No. 2 spot for corn production and number of hogs).
