The Morton Arboretum mixes nature and art in a visually stunning fashion.

With outdoor art installations, a visit to the Morton Arboretum can feel like an exciting scavenger hunt. Starting in 2018, visitors have had the chance to enjoy the magnificent work of Danish artist Thomas Dambo, who created 15- to 30-foot-tall troll sculptures out of reclaimed wood.

In spring 2021, a new exhibit called “Human+Nature” will highlight the connections between people and trees through five massive sculptures created by South African artist Daniel Popper. Depending on your timing, each of these larger-than-life creations is well worth the trip.
