Work and Play Program at Naper Settlement

All work and no play? Not at Naper Settlement! Throughout the month of July, head to the museum for a variety of fun activities based on the theme of “Work and Play.”

In the early settlement days of Naperville, there was lots of work to be done, but they made sure to make time for entertainment too. Enjoy learning about pioneer trades, crafts, chores and games. Specific activities include rope making, butter making, town ball and even vintage baseball.

People of all ages can enjoy the month-long program, and learn some history along the way. The event takes place every Tuesday-Sunday from July 3 through July 28, 2012. For more information, call (630) 420-6010 or visit www.napersettlement.museum.
