There is not a one-size-fits-all approach to growing organic. In fact, a variety of certifications focus on sustainable practices, providing farmers with options for growing organic products and consumers with options for selecting them.
Certified Naturally Grown
To be CNG certified, farmers must grow without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides or GMOs, just like certified organic farmers do. The main difference between CNG and organic is that the certification relies on peer inspections (as opposed to USDA), transparency and direct relationships.
